01

Grown from the ground

The site was a coconut grove and is still mostly a coconut grove. Rather than clear and level it, the plots were set out around what was already standing, which is why the roads bend and no two gardens are the same shape. Mature palms were kept wherever a house could be moved instead.

02

Soft edges, on purpose

Each house opens along its long side to a terrace and pool, with sliding glass that stacks away entirely. The living room has no single wall you would call the front. Perforated clay screens take the west light, so rooms stay cool without being shut.

03

One shared roof

The wellness hub sits at the top of the site by the canal: a restaurant, a gym, and covered sala for yoga, retreats and workshops. Owners will be able to take a gym membership per villa on flexible terms and extend it to their guests — a large part of why a villa here should let better than a villa on its own.

Terra Experience

Twelve shared places,between the houses

The village is not a gated row of villas with a pool at the end of it. Twelve distinct places run through the site — some for gathering, some deliberately hard to find — and every one of the forty-two homes shares all of them.

  • Canal Park

    Canal Park

Seating set out along a public promenade beside the canal, in the shade of what was already growing there.

  • Workshops

    Workshops

Open-air spaces for workshops, wellness practice, creative gatherings and the kind of thing that only works outdoors.

  • Terra Hub

    Terra Hub
